Appearance: Physically, Ryom is nothing exceptionally special in his muscular build; he is simply lean and tall. He stands at 5'7, with a slick jaw, and intensely shaped eyes that are nearly daunting to meet. From his looks alone, he is used to being thought of as 'intimidating' and with his cold personality, "not approachable." Ryom is composed of his own style of look. His hair is a dirty blonde, and his eyes are dark orbs with little color. If any hues do appear, you will find that they resemble the color of dark brown coffee grounds. When he is not required to wear school uniforms, you can find him in dark black jeans, and a deep gray sweatshirt, with a white undershirt. He as well has ear piercings, from which he likes to wear diamond earrings, or small black circular ones. You will never find Ryom without his headphones, and for the most part, unless he is receiving a lecture in class, he will have one bud in at all times.

Personality: Cold, cryptic, isolated, dethatched, difficult. These are among the few words to describe Ryom. His temperament, by nature, is not friendly, and he has been considered standoffish, and rude. Hidden beneath that cement which is void of much emotion or feelings, are some inner most secrets that he never admits to anyone. For example, shockingly, this intimidating looking fellow is rather shy, and what mostly makes up the 'standoffish' or 'prideful' characteristics to him. He is much more obliging to conversation, but only if the counterparties personality just happens to be similar to his own. Even if he decides to speak, or is forced to, his words are generally clipped, short, and cold. He intentionally pieces his words together at time to form a 'play on words', this he does in hope of remaining incognito. Everything he says is susceptible to more than one meaning. A hidden desire, and hobby of his, is his passion for literature. This boy LOVES to read, and can constantly be found wherever there are books. Pages with printed text are his favorite gifts to receive, and gifts to give. Putting him in a place filled with beautiful script will show a side to him that is hard to recognize. In all he is average in his studies, but his true strength is shown in English. He is rather observant, and curious, but is an extreme introvert and prefers it that way. To venture out and do his own thing is not his forte. He is the type of person you'd consider as a 'lone wolf'. He doesn't rely on anyone for anything, and he as well isn't the first one to extend help to someone in need. This is what leads him to not find dating as something pleasant. The thought of dating or the mention of dating will only result in a dry, humorless laugh. To him, he couldn't waste his time with someone, when there's so much else to focus on. For him, high school isn't about finding that 'someone special' it's about graduating so he can move as far away from his mother as he can.
Yet, there is a pleasant side to him too, one that can be cracked with persistence (though it may seem impossible at times). He is quite a good socializer if the topic presented intrigues him, and he is as passionate about writing as he is reading. One way to tell if he considered you as a friend, would be if he allowed you to read any of his works.
Then again, never before has he allowed anyone to read his writing yet.
Likes: Books, writing, solitude, the quiet, music, and nature.
Dislikes: Large crowds, annoying people, desperate people, loud noises, obnoxious behavior, pity, dating, and children.
Habits: Rolling his eyes when something irritates him.
History:
His mother never had the intention of having a child. Yet, one night with too many beers and too many attractive men led to an ultimate life changing moment. Ryom Lee Soon was indeed the result, and in the horrible words of his dam, he was nothing more than, "an accident, or a mistake." She had the intention, of giving him up after he was born; she had no affection or motherly attachment to him. Jin, though a very cruel person, was as well a very intelligent being. She realized, that keeping the boy would mean the state would pay her child care, and fund her extra money ever year to look after the boy. That idea was very appealing, especially so since she usually wasted most of her money on meaningless things. So, Ryom Lee was subjected to the life of a bitter, detached mother, who spent little to no time ever addressing the existence of her only offspring. He went to high school at a public school nearby his previous house, all through freshman and sophomore year, but suddenly, out of the blue, the mother announced they were moving. When he asked why, she would mutter things about "He's too nosey" and "Why does he care?" Ryom didn't think anything of it. When they finally moved to their new home, he looked for a school he wanted to attend. It had to be someone a little ways from his house, to he could leave earlier in the morning and return home later in the evening. However, to his utter joy and surprise he found that a certain high school, Black Rose High school, had on campus living. He quickly applied, and packed his things.
School Related:
How are they able to go to Black Rose High School?: Ryom enrolled himself, without asking for a parent's consent. He discreetly forged his mother's signature, which he learned over the years to nearly perfect. His mother doesn't care exactly where he goes, or whether if he even attends school or not.
